Experience a whole day out on the tranquil bird island Mykines. Mykines is a protected Ramsar site because of its rich bird-life and outstanding natural beauty. Walk among the birds in one of the biggest puffin colonies in the world, on your way to the famous white lighthouse at the westernmost point of the Faroe Islands. Enjoy our organic packed lunch of home made bread with traditional local toppings and quench your thirst with natural spring-water.

What To Expect:

You will be picked right outside your hotel. After leaving Tórshavn the journey takes us by the old mountain road towards Vágoy, where you will drive through one, of the Faroe Islands two subsea tunnels. Arriving at the village of Sørvágur, we will board the ferry that takes us to Mykines. When we get to the islands of Mykines, you will be greeted by a local guide, and the amazing tour begins.  Lunch and bottled water will be provided for you for the hike, so all you will have to do, is to enjoy the wonders surrounding you in this majestic place.
